Where did all the photoshoots go?

on the 2 july, 2008, i was contacted by a photographer regarding images she owned being in the sites gallery. i took them down at her request straight away, of course. this site was only ever made to share my mcr picture collection, never have i set out to cause trouble, intend infringement, or anything or the sort. this was the second time i had been asked to take a photoshoot down, and it got me all kinds of worked up. this site is about mcr fans viewing pictures, good quality, decent pictures. this site is not about me putting myself out to potentially get myself into what could turn into a lot of trouble.

the next day i decided to remove all photoshoot images from the gallery to make sure the site and myself wouldn't have this problem again. i know that a lot of people loved the photoshoots, i did too. i loved that this was the best place, the only place, and what was becoming the most viewed place for exclusive hq photoshoots, but i couldn't risk the hassle it could cause myself. i love sharing pictures with people, but not that much. i was also starting to get very annoyed with people taking pictures from the site and adding to their own (which i'm aware is probably a huge contradiction to everything i've said about photoshoots, but still. it's fansite manners.)

i hope that all visitors to the site understand my choice and back my reasons behind it. the gallery is still packed full of hq pictures from gigs, award shows, and everything else!
